Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SlopCore ("the Service"), developed and operated by Beomjun Kim under BK Studio ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account immediately.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Account Requirement

To use the Service, you must create an account using one of our supported authentication providers:

• Google
• X (Twitter) (coming soon)
• Discord (coming soon)

2.2 Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your third-party authentication accounts
• You must provide accurate information during registration
• You may not create multiple accounts to abuse promotions or circumvent restrictions
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

2.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the account settings in the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Tokens and Payments

3.1 Token System

The Service uses a token-based system for video generation:

• Tokens are required to generate videos
• Each generation consumes a specific number of tokens based on the template and settings
• Token balance is tied to your account and is non-transferable

3.2 Purchasing Tokens

• Tokens can be purchased through our payment provider, Paddle
• Token prices are listed on our website
• Payments are processed securely by Paddle

3.3 Token Expiration

Purchased tokens are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Unused tokens will expire and be forfeited after this period. It is your responsibility to use tokens before they expire.

3.4 Refund Policy

• You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, only if no tokens have been used
• Once any tokens from a purchase have been used, that purchase is non-refundable
• To request a refund, contact us at: beomjunk.dev@gmail.com with your order number and the email associated with your account
• Refunds will be processed through Paddle in accordance with their Buyer Terms
• Refunds will not be issued for purchases made more than 14 days ago, except where required by applicable law

3.5 Token Deduction and Restoration

When you submit a generation request (image or video), the required tokens are deducted immediately from your balance at the time of the request. This is referred to as "pre-deduction."

The outcome of the generation determines whether those tokens are restored:

Content policy violations: All generation requests are automatically screened by our third-party AI generation provider's content moderation system. The following categories of content may be flagged as a violation:

• Sexually explicit or NSFW content
• Hate speech (content targeting race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics)
• Extreme violence or gore
• Intellectual property infringement (copyrighted characters, brands, etc.)
• Harmful stereotypes or discriminatory depictions

If your input is flagged for any of the above, the generation will be rejected and the pre-deducted tokens will not be restored. Our Service operates on templates created by our team, and users provide input through limited customization options (e.g., variable values, prompts). A content policy violation therefore indicates that the user-provided input triggered the violation.

Content moderation is performed automatically and may occasionally flag content that was not intended to be harmful. However, all moderation decisions by the AI generation provider are final with respect to token restoration.

Token restoration is an automatic internal balance adjustment and is entirely separate from purchase refunds described in Section 3.4.

3.6 No Cash Value

Tokens have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to other users, or sold.

4. Generated Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the videos you create using the Service, subject to the following:

• You may use generated videos for personal or commercial purposes
• You are solely responsible for how you use the generated content
• You must comply with all applicable laws regarding the use of AI-generated content

4.2 AI-Generated Content Disclosure

You acknowledge that all content created through the Service is AI-generated. When sharing or publishing generated content, you are responsible for disclosing that it was created using AI, where required by law or platform policies.

4.3 License to Us

By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your generated content solely for:

• Operating and improving the Service
• Promotional and marketing purposes (e.g., showcasing examples of generated content)

If you do not wish your content to be used for promotional purposes, you may opt out by emailing beomjunk.dev@gmail.com with your account email and a list of content you wish to exclude. We will honor opt-out requests within 30 days.

4.4 Content Storage

Generated videos are stored on our servers for 30 days after creation. After this period, videos are automatically and permanently deleted. It is your responsibility to download and save any content you wish to keep before it is deleted.

5. Prohibited Content and Uses

5.1 Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to create content that:

• Depicts, promotes, or facilitates child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors
• Uses the likeness of real individuals without their consent (deepfakes)
• Promotes or incites violence, terrorism, or physical harm
• Contains hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Promotes or facilitates illegal activities
• Contains sexually explicit or pornographic material (NSFW content)
• Spreads political misinformation or election-related disinformation
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Impersonates another person or entity in a misleading manner

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent any usage limits or restrictions
• Use automated tools or bots to access the Service without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service itself
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

5.3 Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

• Remove any content that violates these Terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Report illegal content to appropriate authorities
• Forfeit remaining tokens without refund upon termination for violation

Additionally, tokens consumed by generation requests that are rejected due to content policy violations will not be restored (see Section 3.5). This applies on a per-request basis regardless of account standing.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by BK Studio. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service.

6.2 Third-Party Content

The Service may use third-party AI models, templates, and other technologies. These remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The quality of generated content will meet your expectations
• Any errors will be corrected

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BK STUDIO AND ITS DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Business interruption
• Loss of goodwill or reputation
• Any damages resulting from your use of generated content
• Any unauthorized access to your account
• Any errors or omissions in the Service

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR TOKENS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BK Studio and Beomjun Kim from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your generated content
• Your violation of any third-party rights

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

• Authentication providers (Google, X, Discord)
• Payment processor (Paddle)
• Analytics (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights)
• Error monitoring (Sentry)

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of third-party services.

11. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time
• Change token pricing for future purchases
• Update these Terms at any time

Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BK Studio regarding the Service.
